One night in early summer, I was on the upper deck of the
Detroit Princess, cruising on the Detroit River. When we got close to the Ambassador Bridge, I was ready to take a picture. I don't know too much about bridges but I think it is a beautiful one. It is a suspension bridge by design. The construction started in 1927 and finished in 1929 and it connects Detroit, Michigan, United States of America to Windsor, Ontario, Canada. That makes us kinda international, huh?

I've just visited the New River Gorge bridge in West Virginia, which is the longest suspension bridge. I just can't figure out how they make these things. It's a wonder to behold.
